As an ex-protestant, I'm currently having a hard time trying to discern between Eastern Orthodoxy and Catholicism. That plus the fact that a lot of the claims (and videos) around YouTube made by the Orthodox go unanswered by Catholics, so I'm really happy that you have taken on the task of speaking up about some of those claims. Keep up the good work! I'm sure it'll help lots of people.
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words! Our goal was to create a resource that would be helpful to both Catholics and non-Catholics. These issues can be overwhelming, making it difficult to find your footing, know where to start, or how to evaluate the many voices and arguments out there. Online Eastern Orthodox commenters can be particularly loud and assertive, and I've found that YouTube often amplifies that kind of noise. That's one reason we chose to create a Substack and focus on the written word instead. (If you're interested, our pinned post explains more about the reasons behind this choice: https://controversiam.substack.com/p/veritas-per-contoversiam-truth-through).
Blessings to you on your journey. If there's any way I can assist as you navigate these issues, please don't hesitate to reach out. I've been through it myself. In case you're interested, here's my conversion story: https://wesleychambers.substack.com/p/a-brief-account-of-my-conversion.
That would be great, really! In case I need some answers regarding this, is there any e-mail through which I can write to you? Or can I just send messages here?
